Nose: Rich and complex, opening with notes of ripe red fruit such as cherries and plums, accompanied by spicy aromas of black pepper and vanilla, and balsamic accents of tobacco and leather that add depth.
Palate: Full-bodied and structured on the palate, with elegant and well-integrated tannins. Freshness balances the softness of the ripe fruit, while the mineral component enhances the persistence. Nuances of forest berries, cocoa, and a delicate hint of licorice are perceived on the finish.

Pairings: Ideal with red meats, game, roasts, and braised dishes, as well as aged cheeses and truffle-based dishes. Also perfect for accompanying traditional Tuscan cuisine.
Terroir: The grapes come from vineyards located on hilly terrain with a composition rich in clay and limestone, typical of the Carmignano area, which gives the wine complexity and minerality. The climate, characterized by hot summers and mild winters, promotes optimal ripening of the grapes while maintaining a balanced acidity.
Vinification: The harvest is carried out manually to select only the best grapes. Vinification is traditional, with fermentation in steel tanks and subsequent aging in French oak barrels for about 18 months, followed by a further period of bottle aging.
