Color: Bright golden yellow
Nose: Aristocratic bouquet with notes of chamomile flowers, yellow stone fruits such as Mirabelle plums and Golden Delicious apples, enriched by hints of honey and vanilla.
Taste: Elegant and concentrated, with a pleasant acidity that provides freshness and balance. Flavors of yellow fruit, toasted bread, and a delicate minerality emerge on the palate. The finish is long and persistent, with a refined, Burgundian character.
Alcohol content: 14% vol.
Serving temperature: 10-12°C
Pairings: Ideal with refined appetizers, shrimp cocktail, vitello tonnato, pasta carbonara, grilled fish, poultry, white meats, and soft cheeses.
Terroir: The vineyards are located in a natural, amphitheater-shaped basin with a southeast exposure on calcareous and sandy soils, which ensure optimal ripening of the Chardonnay.
Vinification: Soft pressing, fermentation and aging in barriques for 12 months, followed by an additional year of bottle aging to maximize complexity and structure.
Description: Castello Luigi Bianco is a refined expression of Ticino Chardonnay, distinguished by its structure, freshness, and aromatic complexity. Perfect both in its youth and after a few years of aging, it offers an excellent balance between minerality, fruit, and softness.
