Aroma: Intense and complex, characterized by notes of ripe red fruit such as cherry and plum, with delicate nuances of tobacco, vanilla, sweet spices, and faint hints of leather.
Taste: Dry, full-bodied, with an elegant tannic structure well-balanced by good acidity that provides freshness. On the palate, ripe red fruits, spicy notes, and a slight savoriness emerge, making the wine long and persistent.

Serving Temperature: 16-18°C
Pairings: Pairs perfectly with red meat dishes, roasts, game, aged cheeses, and mushroom-based recipes. Also excellent with flavorful first courses, such as pasta with meat sauce or traditional Sicilian preparations.
Terroir: The Nero d'Avola grapes used for Duca Enrico come from vineyards located in Sicily, where the predominantly calcareous soils and Mediterranean climate create the ideal conditions for the grape's maturation, enhancing its structure and aromatic qualities.
Vinification: After manual harvesting, the grapes undergo prolonged maceration to extract the maximum amount of tannins and aromas, followed by temperature-controlled fermentation. The wine then matures in oak barrels for a variable period, which allows the tannins to soften and enriches the aromatic bouquet.
