Grape Variety: Merlot

Color: Intense ruby red with purple highlights

Aroma: Intense and fruity, dominated by notes of strawberries, sour cherries, and red forest fruits, with hints of coffee and grape pomace.

Flavor: Soft, delicate, and balanced, with well-tempered tannins and lively freshness. On the palate, flavors of black cherries and blackberries emerge, accompanied by a slight minerality that gives the wine harmony.

Serving Temperature: 14-16°C

Pairings: Ideal with pasta dishes, pizza, white meats, and semi-aged cheeses. It also pairs perfectly with Ticino specialties such as the "piatto nostrano" (local platter).

Terroir: The vineyards are located in the areas of Coldrerio, Morbio Inferiore, and Mendrisio, characterized by clayey soils that give the wine a particular structure and minerality. The favorable hillside exposure and the temperate climate of the Mendrisiotto region promote optimal grape ripening.

Vinification: Traditional vinification with maceration for 8-9 days and aging in stainless steel tanks, preserving the freshness and integrity of the fruit.
