Origin: Eguisheim, Haut-Rhin, Alsace, France.
Grape Variety: Gewürztraminer.
Color: Brilliant golden yellow.
Nose: Intense and complex, with dominant notes of exotic fruits such as lychee and pineapple, accompanied by hints of stone fruits like apricot and peach, and spicy nuances of nutmeg and saffron.
Palate: Elegant and harmonious on the palate, with a delicate and seductive sweetness. It presents a balance between tannins and acidity, with a lively aromatic presence reminiscent of quince jelly and floral notes in the aftertaste.
Serving temperature: 8-10°C.
Pairings: Ideal with spicy dishes such as tagines and Asian cuisine, soft-ripened cheeses, and foie gras. It also pairs well with crustaceans such as lobster and shrimp, as well as white meats and calf's liver.
Terroir: The Pfersigberg vineyard, located in Eguisheim, benefits from a warm and dry microclimate with an east-southeast exposure at the foot of the Trois Châteaux. The soil is predominantly marly-limestone, ideal for cultivating Gewürztraminer.
Vinification: The grapes are harvested by hand and undergo soft pressing. Fermentation takes place at a controlled temperature to preserve varietal aromas. The wine is aged for several months in stainless steel tanks to maintain freshness and aromatic purity.
