Origin: Speyside, Highland, Scotland – Glenfiddich Distillery (Dufftown, 1886)
Raw materials: 100% malted barley from Scottish selections, pure spring water from the Robbie Dhu Springs, traditional distillery yeasts
Color: Intense gold with amber highlights
Nose: Fruity and complex, with ripe apple, orange, honey, candied citrus, sweet spices, and a touch of heather
Palate: Elegant and round, with a balance between malty sweetness and oak; notes of dried fruit, baked apple, caramel, and citrus
Alcohol content: 40%
Serving temperature: 18 – 20 °C
Pairings: For meditation, excellent with light cigars, mild aged cheeses, dried fruit, and caramel or apple-based desserts
Terroir: Typical Speyside, characterized by softness and rich fruity notes; maturation in American oak ex-bourbon and Oloroso sherry casks
Production: The malted barley is ground and mixed with spring water in large mash tuns; the resulting wort is fermented in Douglas fir washbacks with selected yeasts. Distillation takes place in traditional swan-neck copper pot stills, with double distillation to concentrate purity and aromas. Aging takes place in ex-bourbon and Oloroso sherry casks, carefully selected by the malt master, before the final "marrying" in large oak vats.
Maturation: 18 years in selected casks, with a final refinement in "Solera Vat" oak tuns to harmonize the batches

We do everything possible to process orders quickly and unfortunately cannot make updates once an order has been placed. Such changes include removing or adding products and/or changing the delivery address. If an error was made with the order details, it is faster to create a new order with the correct details and then contact our Customer Service team.
