Aging: 12 years total – over 10 years in ex-bourbon casks, 2 years in ex-Calvados casks from the Pays d’Auge (20 years of use)
Color: Bright gold with warm highlights
Nose: Elegant and complex, with baked apple and pear, vanilla, almond, heather honey, jasmine, daffodil, and sweet pastry notes
Taste: Soft and spicy, with baked pears, caramelized apples, marzipan, star anise, praline, lemon, and eucalyptus, with an oily and silky texture
Finish: Long, persistent, fresh, and refined
Alcohol content: 46% vol., non-chill filtered
Serving temperature: 16–18 °C, neat or with a few drops of water
Pairings: Desserts with cooked fruit, dry pastries, creams, caramelized citrus, soft cheeses (e.g., Camembert)
Production: Highland Single Malt Scotch, distilled from 100% malted barley in Glenmorangie's traditional tall stills. Aged over 10 years in American oak ex-bourbon casks and finished for about 2 years in premium ex-Calvados casks from the Pays d’Auge, selected for their ability to impart fruity and spicy notes. Bottled at 46% vol., non-chill filtered, to preserve richness and complexity.
