Terroir: The pomace used comes from the vineyards of Montalcino, characterized by a temperate climate and soils rich in galestro and alberese, which give the Sangiovese grapes a particular aromatic complexity.
Distillation: The winery's fresh pomace is distilled a few hours after racking using a copper still, discontinuous method, low-proof columns.
Description: Altesino Grappa di Brunello di Montalcino is a distillate of great elegance and personality, reflecting the quality of the Sangiovese grapes from which it is derived. The straw yellow color with golden reflections is due to a short stay in wood, which allows the distillate to acquire light notes of vanilla and oak, without losing the fruitiness typical of a young grappa.
