Origin: Alba, Cuneo, Piedmont, Italy.
Grape variety: Moscato.
Color: Light amber, the result of aging in small oak barrels.
Nose: Intense and aromatic, with predominant notes of ripe yellow fruit, candied citrus, and floral nuances typical of Moscato, enriched by hints of vanilla and spice derived from wood aging.
Taste: Soft, enveloping, and harmonious, with a perfect balance between the aromatic sweetness of the grape variety and the spicy notes imparted by the wood. On the palate, flavors of honey, dried fruit, and a delicate vanilla aftertaste emerge, making the tasting experience pleasant and persistent.
Alcohol content: 40% vol.
Serving temperature: 12-14°C.
Pairings: Ideal as a meditation spirit after a meal, it pairs beautifully with almond-based desserts, dry pastries, dark chocolate, and blue cheeses. It is also excellent paired with a quality cigar for a complete sensory experience.
Terroir: The Moscato grapes come from the hills of Piedmont, characterized by calcareous soils and clay marls, which give the pomace a distinctive aromatic richness. The temperate climate with good temperature ranges promotes the development of the grape's typical aromas.
Vinification: Fresh Moscato pomace is distilled using the discontinuous method in copper steam stills to preserve the varietal aromas. Subsequently, the grappa is aged in small oak barrels that previously held aromatic wines, for a period that varies depending on the vintage, in order to enrich its organoleptic profile.
