Color: Intense ruby red with purplish hues, characteristic of this native grape variety, which evolves into garnet tones over time.
Bouquet: Complex and penetrating aromas, dominated by red fruits such as cherry, black cherry, and blackcurrant. Floral notes of violet and earthy hints blend with spicy accents and a slight balsamic quality.
Palate: On the palate, it is dry and structured, with a fine yet intense tannic texture. It presents a good balance between freshness and softness, with a full body and remarkable persistence. Flavors of ripe fruit and nuances of aromatic herbs emerge, accompanied by a mineral note that enhances the typicality of the terroir.

Pairings: Ideal with traditional Tuscan dishes such as Florentine steak, roasted red meats, stewed wild boar, and aged cheeses. It also pairs well with mushroom and truffle-based dishes, enhancing the wine's earthy notes.
Terroir: Grown on the Tuscan hills, this Colorino best expresses the calcareous-clay soil of the area. The Mediterranean climate, with hot, dry summers and mild winters, allows the grapes to reach optimal ripeness, enhancing the wine's structure and balance.
Vinification: The Colorino grapes are hand-harvested and undergo traditional vinification. They ferment at a controlled temperature to keep the aromatic characteristics of the grape variety intact. Subsequently, the wine ages in oak barrels for about 12 months, acquiring complexity and rounding out the tannins.
