Bouquet: An enveloping and complex bouquet, dominated by notes of ripe red fruits such as cherry and plum, with hints of sweet spices, vanilla, and a light toasted touch derived from aging in wood.
Taste: Dry, soft, and well-structured, with elegant and velvety tannins. On the palate, notes of red fruit, vanilla, and light nuances of cocoa emerge, with a pleasant, persistent finish that highlights the maturity of the fruit and the quality of the grape variety.
Serving temperature: 16-18°C
Pairings: Pairs perfectly with red meat dishes, roasts, game, aged cheeses, and pasta dishes with savory sauces. Also excellent with stews and braised meats.
Terroir: The Merlot grapes come from vineyards in the Piave DOC area, characterized by alluvial soils that give the wine a particular minerality and depth. Vinification: The grapes are harvested by hand and undergo traditional fermentation at a controlled temperature. Subsequently, the wine is aged for several months in oak barrels, which enrich its aromatic profile and soften its tannins.
