Color: Intense red with brilliant highlights
Nose: Complex bouquet with dominant notes of plums, dark and red berries, enriched by refined aromas of vanilla, leather, and spices
Taste: On the palate, the wine is full-bodied, soft, and juicy, with tannins that are present yet very harmonious. The typical characteristics of Merlot are clearly perceptible, with a balanced structure and a pleasant persistence.
Serving temperature: 16-18°C
Pairings: Ideal with stews, game, mushrooms, and risottos. It also pairs well with poultry or duck.
Terroir: The vineyards located in Ligornetto benefit from a favorable climate and soils that lend distinctive characteristics to the Merlot, contributing to the wine's complexity and elegance.
Vinification: The grapes are carefully selected and the must ferments in 50-hectoliter wooden barrels. The wine then matures in new barriques for about 18 months, acquiring structure and refinement.
