Origin: Arzo, Mendrisiotto, Canton Ticino, Switzerland.
Grape Variety: Merlot.
Color: Intense ruby red with violet reflections.
Nose: Austere and intense, with complex and elegant notes of vanilla derived from aging in barriques.
Palate: Complex, intense, and persistent, with a significant tannic component that softens with bottle aging.
Serving temperature: 18°C.
Pairings: Ideal with cheeses, red meats, and game.
Terroir: The grapes come from the Tenimento dell'Ör, located at an altitude of 550 meters above sea level in the municipality of Arzo, a very sunny hilly area in the Mendrisiotto, Canton Ticino.
Vinification: After a 26-day maceration, the wine ages for 23 months in 100% new French oak barriques. The wine does not undergo filtration processes, so it may contain sediment in the bottle.
Description: This Merlot Riserva represents the pinnacle of the estate's production, capturing in every vintage the maximum potential of the noble Merlot grape variety grown in this territory. Elegant and refined, it is a wine of great longevity that, even in its youth, seduces with its aromatic richness and extraordinary structure.
