Origin: Mombaruzzo, Asti, Piedmont, Italy.
Raw material: Moscato and Barbera pomace.
Color: Intense amber.
Aroma: Complex and enveloping, with notes of ripe fruit such as apricot and peach, enriched by hints of sweet spices, raisins, and nuances of vanilla and caramel.
Taste: Warm and velvety, with an aromatic richness that expresses the sweetness of Marsala and the elegance of Moscato, balanced by the firm structure of Barbera. Persistent and harmonious, it leaves a lingering memory of honey, toasted almonds, and a light touch of wood on the palate.
Alcohol content: 43%
Serving temperature: 16-18°C
Pairings: Perfect as a meditation spirit, it pairs beautifully with dry pastries, fine confectionery, dark chocolate, or pralines. It is also ideal with blue cheeses for a surprising pairing.
Terroir: The pomace comes from the hills of Monferrato, a terroir famous for its aromatic Moscato and structured Barbera. The characteristics of the calcareous-clay soil impart freshness and aromatic intensity to the grappa.
Distillation and aging: Artisanal distillation using the discontinuous steam method. Subsequently, the grappa is aged for over 24 months in oak barrels that previously held Marsala, a process that enriches the aromatic profile with sweet and spicy notes.
