Pairings: Ideal as an after-dinner drink, it pairs perfectly with fruit-based desserts, dry pastries, and dark chocolate. Also excellent when served with blue cheeses or as an ingredient in refined cocktails.
Terroir: The Brachetto grapes come from the Monferrato hills, characterized by calcareous soils and a favorable microclimate that enhance the aromatic qualities of the grape variety.
Vinification: Fresh pomace is distilled using the discontinuous steam copper still method. Subsequently, the grappa matures for 12 months in wooden barrels, acquiring aromatic complexity and smoothness.
Description: The Brachetto "Piasì" Grappa represents the excellence of the Berta Distillery in enhancing native Piedmontese grape varieties. The term "Piasì" means "pleasure" in the local dialect, reflecting the sensory experience offered by this spirit. The aging in wood gives the spirit a brilliant amber color and enriches the aromatic bouquet with notes of vanilla and rose, typical of Brachetto. On the palate, it is soft and enveloping, with a pleasant and harmonious persistence.
