Grape Variety: 100% Pinot Blanc

Colour: Luminous straw yellow with bright greenish reflections

Nose: Fine and elegant bouquet, characterized by notes of white peach, quince, citrus nuances, and a distinct chalky and schistous minerality

Taste: Fresh, taut, and structured on the palate; it shows a perfect balance between vibrant, well-integrated acidity, aromatic richness, and a persistent, savoury, and pleasantly dry finish

Alcohol content: 12.5%

Serving temperature: 8 - 10 °C

Food pairings: Ideal for refined aperitifs, finger food, cold and warm appetizers, lake fish dishes, shellfish, noble poultry, and fresh or soft cheeses

Terroir: Hilly vineyards located above Maienfeld (Stellibofel and Neubruch parcels), characterized by soils rich in slate and limestone. The altitude and cool alpine air currents ensure significant diurnal temperature variation, preserving the freshness and natural acidity of the grapes

Vinification: Fermentation in large 350-litre wooden barrels. Subsequent ageing on fine lees (sur lie) divided between neutral stainless steel tanks and wood, with constant contact with the yeast to impart creaminess, complexity, and structure

Detailed description: The Pinot Blanc from Möhr-Niggli represents one of the purest and most refined interpretations of Pinot Blanc from the Bündner Herrschaft. Born from the union of the historic Stellibofel and Neubruch parcels in Maienfeld, this wine benefits from a cool, ventilated alpine microclimate that enhances its vibrant mineral component. The skillful vinification in large wood combined with prolonged lees ageing gives the palate a silky texture without ever weighing down its profile, resulting in a white wine of great gastronomic tension, precision, and elegance.
