Origin: Arzo, Mendrisiotto, Canton Ticino, Switzerland.
Grape Variety: Pinot Noir.
Color: Pale ruby red with violet reflections.
Nose: Delicate and complex, with notes of wild berries such as wild strawberries, cherry, and raspberry, enriched by floral nuances and a light hint of vanilla derived from wood aging.
Taste: Dry, harmonious, and fresh, with elegant tannins and good structure. Flavors of ripe red fruit emerge on the palate, accompanied by a pleasant acidity that provides balance and persistence.
Serving temperature: 16-18°C.
Pairings: Ideal with white poultry, mixed boiled meats, and traditional Trentino cured meats. It also pairs well with structured fish dishes and medium-aged cheeses.
Terroir: The vineyards are located in Arzo, in a very sunny hilly area at an altitude of 550 m a.s.l., characterized by calcareous soils that give the wine a particular minerality and finesse.
Vinification: Vinification takes place with maceration on the skins for about 10 days, followed by fermentation in oak vats. Subsequently, 40% of the wine matures in oak barrels for six months, while the rest ages in steel, in order to preserve the freshness and integrity of the fruit.
Description: The Pinot Nero TI DOC from Tenimenti dell'Or represents an excellent interpretation of Pinot Noir in the Ticino territory. The combination of a favorable climate and calcareous soils, together with meticulous care in the vineyard and cellar, gives life to a wine of great elegance and complexity, capable of best expressing the characteristics of the grape variety.
