Bouquet: On the nose, it presents a complex and enveloping bouquet, in which notes of ripe red fruit such as cherry, blackberry, and plum stand out. Hints of sweet spices, vanilla, and cocoa are also perceived, along with light nuances of tobacco.
Taste: On the palate, it is rich and velvety, with a full-bodied structure and excellent concentration of flavors. The tannins are well integrated and provide a sensation of softness, while the natural freshness of the Primitivo balances the wine's structure. Notes of red fruit and a touch of spice persist, enriching the long and lingering finish.

Serving temperature: 16/18° C
Pairings: Ideal with grilled red meats, roasts, game, and aged cheeses. It is also perfect with mushroom-based dishes and wild boar ragù, as well as typical Apulian cuisine dishes, such as orecchiette with meat sauce.
Terroir: The Primitivo vines used for this wine are grown in the heart of Salento, on mixed clay-limestone soils. The hot and dry climate, typical of the area, with significant temperature variations between day and night, contributes to the aromatic concentration of the grapes and the complexity of the wine.
Vinification: The grapes are harvested by hand. After soft pressing, the must ferments at a controlled temperature to best extract the aromas and tannins. Subsequently, the wine ages in oak barrels for approximately 12 months, bestowing greater complexity to the aromatic profile and roundness to the palate.
