Origin: Caribbean, primarily Guyana (Demerara rum), bottled by The Patrón Spirits Company.
Raw materials: Fermented and distilled sugarcane molasses, aged in American and European oak barrels.
Color: Intense amber with golden and orange highlights.
Nose: Sweet and enveloping, with aromas of candied orange peel, honey, vanilla, caramel, and oak, enriched by spicy notes of cinnamon and nutmeg.
Palate: Smooth and velvety on the palate, with a predominance of candied citrus and cane sugar, followed by vanilla, caramel, and light spices. The finish is long, with lingering hints of orange, toasted wood, and balanced sweetness.
Alcohol content: 40% ABV.
Serving temperature: 18-20 °C, to be enjoyed neat or with a cube of ice.
Pairings: Ideal as a meditation rum, it pairs well with dark chocolate, caramel-based desserts, toasted nuts, aged cheeses, and quality cigars. It can also be used in premium cocktails to enhance its citrusy and spicy notes.
Terroir: A blend of Caribbean rums aged in a tropical climate, which accelerates the maturation processes. The Demerara style from Guyana provides body, complexity, and aromatic richness.
