Origin: Midleton, County Cork, Ireland – Midleton Distillery, part of Irish Distillers, renowned for producing the most famous Irish whiskeys.
Raw materials: Single Pot Still, meaning a blend of malted and unmalted barley, triple distilled in copper pot stills
Color: Brilliant golden amber.
Nose: Complex and rich, with notes of ripe tropical fruit, dried fruit, honey, sweet spices, and light hints of sherry.
Palate: Round and velvety, with flavors of figs, dates, hazelnuts, vanilla, and warm spices. Long, creamy, and persistent finish, with a balance between sweetness and spice.
Alcohol content: 46% ABV
Serving temperature: 16–18 °C
Pairings: Ideal with dark chocolate, aged cheeses (such as mature pecorino), dried fruit-based desserts, or simply enjoyed neat to appreciate its complexity.
Terroir: Humid and mild climate of Southern Ireland, which fosters slow and uniform maturation, enriching the aromatic profile.
Production: Mash of malted and unmalted barley, triple distillation in pot stills, followed by combined aging in ex-bourbon barrels and Oloroso sherry casks
