Origin: Monteforte d'Alpone, Verona, Veneto, Italy
Grape variety: Garganega, Trebbiano di Soave, Chardonnay
Color: Straw yellow with greenish reflections
Bouquet: Elegant and complex, with notes of white-fleshed fruit such as apple and pear, hints of citrus and white flowers. On the nose, light herbaceous and mineral nuances can also be perceived, adding depth to the aromatic bouquet.
Taste: Dry, fresh and lively, with a pleasant savoriness that expresses the area's volcanic terroir. Its good structure and aromatic persistence make this wine versatile and suitable for many pairings. On the palate, notes of white fruit emerge again, with a light minerality that makes it particularly refreshing.
Alcohol content: 12.5%
Serving temperature: 8-10°C
Pairings: Ideal with fish-based appetizers, shellfish, pasta dishes with light sauces, risottos, and white meats. It also pairs well with fresh cheeses and grilled vegetables.
Terroir: The grapes come from vineyards located on the hills of Monteforte d'Alpone, characterized by volcanic soils that give the wine a distinctive minerality. The area's climate, with hot and breezy summers, promotes balanced ripening of the grapes, ensuring freshness and complexity.
Vinification: The grapes are harvested by hand and undergo soft pressing. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature to preserve the varietal characteristics. After fermentation, the wine matures briefly on its fine lees to improve structure and aromatic intensity.
