Nose: An enveloping and refined bouquet, dominated by notes of ripe black fruit such as plum and blackberry, accompanied by hints of tobacco, black pepper, and subtle touches of vanilla and toasted wood, derived from aging in barriques.
Taste: On the palate, it is full and velvety, with soft, well-integrated tannins. The structure is rich and round, while maintaining excellent freshness thanks to a balanced acidity that provides liveliness. Notes of forest fruits, cocoa, and sweet spices develop into a long and persistent finish, making it ideal for accompanying robust meals.

Pairings: Perfect with grilled red meats, roasts, and game. It also pairs well with flavorful first courses such as pappardelle with wild boar ragù, as well as aged cheeses and Tuscan cured meats.
Terroir: The Merlot vines grow on clay and calcareous soils, enriched by a slight presence of pebbles, typical of the Tuscan Coast terroir. The Mediterranean climate, with its warm, windy summers, contributes to optimal grape ripening, enhancing the wine's aromatic complexity and structure.
Vinification: The grapes are harvested by hand and vinified with temperature-controlled fermentation. The wine is aged for approximately 12 months in French oak barriques, a process that gives elegance and complexity to the aromatic bouquet without overpowering the varietal characteristics of the Merlot.
Description: The Sonoro IGT Merlot by Ceralti is an expressive and seductive wine, the result of a careful selection of Merlot grapes grown in the clay soils of the Tuscan coast. The limited production and careful vinification give this wine a unique personality, capable of winning over the most demanding palates with a balanced fusion of intensity and softness. This Merlot, with great aging potential, represents one of the best expressions of the Ceralti winery.
