Color: Intense ruby red, with violet reflections that evoke the wine's youth and liveliness.
Nose: Broad and complex bouquet, characterized by intense notes of ripe red fruit, particularly cherry and plum, with spicy nuances of black pepper and a slight hint of leather that adds depth.
Taste: On the palate, the wine is dry, full-bodied, and well-structured, with soft, round tannins that enhance its balance. Flavors of ripe fruit and a touch of spice emerge, balanced by good freshness and a slight mineral note that provides a long finish.
Serving temperature: 16-18°C
Pairings: Perfect with grilled red meats, roasts, game, aged cheeses, and dishes featuring Mediterranean spices. Also ideal with traditional Sardinian first courses like malloreddus with sausage sauce and roast suckling pig.
Terroir: The Bovale vines have their roots in the clayey and sandy soils typical of the Campidano area, which give the wine a distinctive mineral note and a bold character. The island's climatic conditions, with hot, breezy summers and mild winters, favor the balanced ripening of the grapes, ensuring good concentration of aromas and natural freshness.
