Terroir: Syrah was introduced in Ticino in the second half of the 1980s, adapting very well to the terroir of Monte San Giorgio. At Tenimento dell'Ör, this grape variety yields wines of excellent structure characterized by intense spicy notes.
Vinification: 20-day maceration in Bordeaux-style oak vats, followed by malolactic fermentation and aging for almost 2 years in French oak barriques (60% new and 40% second-fill).
Description: The Syrah del Ticino DOC from Tenimenti dell'Or is a red wine of great elegance and complexity. On the nose, it offers an intense bouquet with spicy notes and hints of pepper, while on the palate it is harmonic and balanced, with soft tannins and a refined structure. This Syrah represents an excellent expression of the Ticino terroir, reflecting the passion and expertise of the Agriloro winery in producing high-quality wines.
