Grape variety: 100% Merlot
Colour: Pale straw yellow
Bouquet: Fine and delicate, with fruity notes of white peach and Williams pear, accompanied by floral nuances and delicate citrus notes.
Taste: Fresh and pleasant, elegant and harmonious, with a savoury finish and good length. Ideal as an aperitif.
Alcohol content: 12.8% Vol.
Serving temperature: 8 - 10°C
Pairings: Perfect for an aperitif, it pairs well with appetisers and light first courses.
Terroir: The grapes come from the Three Valleys (Lower Leventina, Rivera and Blenio Valley), areas that impart freshness and minerality to the wine.
Vinification: The free-run white must of the Merlot is obtained through partial destemming and crushing of the grapes, followed by a very soft pressing. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at a temperature of 18 – 20°C. To maintain the freshness and savouriness of the wine, malolactic fermentation is not carried out.
