Origin: Vega Sicilia, Ribera del Duero, Castile and León, Spain.
Grape variety: Tinto Fino (Tempranillo), Merlot.
Color: Dark cherry red with garnet reflections.
Nose: Powerful, dominated by aromas of candied fruit, toasted notes, and hints of wax.
Palate: Warm and enveloping, with sensations of candied fruit, sweet tannins, and good persistence.
Serving temperature: 18°C
Pairings: Ideal with grilled red meats, roasts, braised dishes, and Spanish cured meats.
Terroir: Vineyards situated at an altitude between 700 and 900 meters above sea level, on clay-limestone soils with alluvial zones.
Vinification: Temperature-controlled fermentation in stainless steel tanks with indigenous yeasts, followed by malolactic fermentation in the same material. Aged for five years, with the first year in new and used French and American oak barrels, and subsequently in the bottle.
