Color: Ruby red with violet reflections
Nose: Aromas of cherries and strawberries, with fine notes of plums and blueberries, accompanied by light nuances of tobacco and chocolate.
Palate: Soft and fresh, medium-bodied with a long finish and discreet tannins. Herbaceous sensations typical of Merlot emerge on the palate, balanced by a pleasant freshness.
Serving temperature: 16-18°C
Food pairings: Ideal with pasta, risottos, stews, and Indian cuisine. It also pairs well with lightly spiced red meats and aged cheeses.
Terroir: The vineyards are located in the hills of Ticino, characterized by a mild climate and rich soils, ideal for growing Merlot.
Vinification: Fermentation in 5000-liter wooden vats, followed by 18 months of aging in oak barrels.
