Origin: Farra d'Isonzo, Gorizia, Friuli Venezia Giulia, Italy
Grape varieties: Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Ribolla Gialla, Malvasia Istriana, Picolit
Color: Intense straw yellow with golden reflections, bright and luminous.
Nose: Complex and enveloping, with notes of ripe yellow-fleshed fruit such as peach and apricot, floral nuances of white flowers, hints of honey, almond, and slight touches of aromatic herbs, with a light minerality emerging in the background.
Palate: Dry and velvety, endowed with a remarkable but balanced structure. On the palate, one perceives a pleasant roundness combined with vibrant freshness. Long, elegant finish, with an aftertaste reminiscent of tropical fruit, citrus, and a hint of spice. Perfectly balanced, with a minerality that makes it refined and unique.
Alcohol content: 13.5%
Serving temperature: 12/14° C
Pairings: Excellent when paired with refined fish dishes, shellfish, sushi, tuna tartare, and shrimp. It also lends itself well to white meats in delicate sauces, herb risottos, and soft or aged cheeses like Montasio. Perfect for accompanying creative and gourmet cuisine.
Terroir: The vines are grown in marly and calcareous soils of Eocene origin, typical of the Friulian Collio, which give the wine a marked minerality and characteristic freshness. The climate of this area, characterized by a good temperature range between day and night, favors the aromatic complexity of the grapes, enhancing the characteristics of each variety.
Vinification: The harvest is carried out manually, carefully selecting the best grapes. The winemaking process involves fermentation in steel to maintain freshness and the integrity of the aromas. Subsequently, the wine is aged for several months on fine lees, with frequent bâtonnage, to enrich its structure and aromatic complexity.
