Taste: On the palate, fine flavors that mirror the aromas, with fruity and mineral notes. The balanced acidity gives the wine a pleasant length.

Pairings: Ideal with fish dishes, seafood, white meats, and soft cheeses. Also excellent as an aperitif.
Terroir: The vineyards are located in Monteggio, in the Malcantone region, on south-facing slopes at an altitude of 300-450 meters above sea level. The soil and microclimate promote optimal grape ripening, giving the wine a complex structure and a distinctive minerality.
Vinification: The grapes are harvested during the coolest hours of the day to preserve their aromas. After a soft pressing, the must ferments in barriques, where the wine ages for about 10 months, acquiring aromatic complexity and structure.
Description: The 2022 Volpe Alata is an elegant and refined Chardonnay, an expression of the Ticino terroir. Fermentation in barriques gives the wine aromatic complexity, with notes of exotic fruit and citrus, supported by a pleasant minerality. The balanced acidity and harmonious structure make it versatile for food pairings and suitable for various occasions.
