Nose: Complex and enveloping, with notes of peat and smoke, hints of brine, candied fruit such as lemon and orange, spices (nutmeg, ginger), licorice, and delicate floral nuances
Palate: Dry, structured, and decisive, with well-integrated peat and smoke, accompanied by fresh fruit (melon, kiwi), nuts, and dark chocolate, sweet spices, and vanilla. Marine freshness and minerality round out the sip, offering a perfect balance between power and elegance
Alcohol content: 45%
Serving temperature: 16/18°C, preferably neat or with a few drops of water to enhance its aromas
Pairings: Pairs perfectly with savory and smoked fish, grilled meats, blue or aged cheeses, dark chocolate, and dried fruit. Excellent as a meditation whisky after a meal
Terroir: The Yoichi distillery is located on the northern coast of Hokkaido, in a marine environment with a harsh, humid climate reminiscent of Scotland. Sea breezes and cool nights favor slow, complex maturation, giving the whisky a bold and mineral character
Production: Produced from a blend of Yoichi whiskies of various ages (NAS). Distillation takes place in traditional coal-fired pot stills, a rare method that imparts body and smoky notes. Aging occurs in oak casks, including ex-sherry and American oak barrels, for a rich and layered aromatic profile

We do everything possible to process orders quickly and unfortunately cannot make updates once an order has been placed. Such changes include removing or adding products and/or changing the delivery address.
