Raw material: Local cherries from the Zug-Rigi area, small and aromatic, with a distinct stone that gives the typical almond notes.
Color: Crystalline, transparent.
Nose: Intense and refined, with scents of ripe cherry, sweet almond, slight notes of dark chocolate, and spicy nuances of white pepper.
Taste: Elegant and balanced, with juicy cherries, marzipan, and almond notes; harmonious and fine. The finish is long, fruity, and persistent, with a perfect balance between natural sweetness and freshness.

Pairings: Ideal as a digestif served neat, excellent with dark chocolate, cherry desserts, and almond cakes. Also great for enriching refined cocktails or pastry recipes.
Terroir: The Zug-Rigi area is characterized by a mountain climate with cool nights that favor the slow ripening of the cherries, enhancing fragrances and aromas. The pit provides the typical almond note that distinguishes Rigi Kirsch, making it unique and traditionally tied to the territory.
Distillation: Natural fermentation of local cherries, double distillation in traditional stills, and aging for at least two years in stainless steel tanks in the Fassbind cellars to obtain a round and complex distillate.

Born in 1846 from Switzerland's oldest distillery, it elegantly expresses the essence of local cherries from the Zug-Rigi region. It is a refined and harmonious kirsch, perfect as a digestif but also as a versatile ingredient for cocktails and culinary preparations. It combines history, craftsmanship, and authenticity in a crystal-clear glass of pure tradition.
