Origin: Bowmore, Isle of Islay, Scotland
Raw materials: Islay malted barley, River Laggan water, selected yeasts, local peat, and ex-Bourbon and ex-Oloroso sherry oak casks.
Color: Deep mahogany with amber highlights
Nose: Complex and intense, with notes of dried plums, raisins, rhubarb, fresh raspberries, creamy vanilla, sherry, and an elegant hint of sea smoke
Taste: Sweet and velvety, with nuances of ripe fruit, toffee, toasted hazelnuts, marzipan, and cocoa, accompanied by delicate spices and a long, smoky, and briny finish
Alcohol content: 43%
Serving temperature: 16/18 °C
Pairings: Ideal with dark chocolate desserts, dried fruit cakes, aged cheeses, and mild cigars. Excellent as a meditation whisky for slow, refined tastings
Terroir: Bowmore’s underground warehouses (No. 1 Vaults), located at sea level, guarantee constant humidity and marine influence, giving the distillate mineral complexity and a unique saline character. The alternation of ex-Bourbon and Oloroso sherry casks creates a perfect balance between sweetness, spice, and smoke
Production: Aged for 25 years in ex-Bourbon American oak casks and Oloroso sherry European oak casks. Bottled at 43% with chill filtration and possible addition of E150 coloring

No, we currently only ship to Switzerland and Liechtenstein; consequently, we accept the Swiss Franc CHF as currency.

We do everything possible to process orders quickly and unfortunately cannot make updates once an order has been placed. Such changes include removing or adding products and/or changing the delivery address. If an error was made with the order details, it is faster to create a new order with the correct details and then contact our Customer Service team.
