Origin: Estate in the municipality of Montefusco (AV), in the Greco di Tufo DOCG denomination area – Campania, Italy.
Grape Variety: 100% Greco di Tufo
Color: Intense straw yellow, sometimes with greenish reflections.
Bouquet: Complex and enveloping: scents of apricot, pear, apple, peach, citrus, green almond, and sage, with a mineral touch characteristic of the terroir.
Taste: Dry, well-structured, with good acidity and distinct sapidity. On the palate, ripe fruit, full texture, herbaceous notes, and underlying minerality emerge. The finish is elegant and moderately persistent.
Serving temperature: 12-14° C
Alcohol content: 13% vol.
Pairings: Ideal with seafood appetizers, shellfish, pasta dishes with crustaceans or fish, white meats, risottos, and fresh cheeses.
Terroir: Vineyards located at approximately 550 m a.s.l., on loamy-clay soil, calcareous and with volcanic traces; southeast exposure; espalier training system with Guyot pruning.
Vinification: Manual harvest (end of October), white vinification in stainless steel at controlled temperature, with no skin contact, bottle aging for 3-4 months.
Description: The Greco di Tufo DOCG “Novaserra” by Mastroberardino represents an excellent expression of the pure Greco grape in the Irpinia area. Thanks to the careful selection of grapes, the Montefusco terroir, and refined vinification, this wine offers an aromatic and structural profile that combines freshness and depth, becoming a classic Campanian white wine.
